Do I need Internet Access to use the EnerWatch Solution? Preferably. But, if there is no internet access EnerWatch will use other devices to reach the internet. Q. How will I know if the temperature, in the unit, is too high or too low? EnerWatch will notify you of temperature changes, within the set parameters, via the internet and e-mail you directly. Q. What if EnerWatch Systems cannot contact us? EnerWatch Monitoring Center will send several e-mails to you or your company IT personnel; if they cannot be reached EnerWatch Systems will send a Technician to asses the problem. Once the problem has been assessed then the Technician will call, on your behalf, the required company to have their personnel notified of the particular problem Q. What happens if the system goes down? The EnerWatch Monitoring System should function trouble free for years. However, in the unlikely event that a failure occurs, the loss of signal immediately triggers an alert in the EnerWatch Monitoring Center and EnerWatch personnel are dispatched to correct the problem within hours, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Q. What happens if there is a power outtage? Power outtages are, unfortunately, a fact of nature. Anytime the EnerWatch Monitoring Systems goes off line because of power loss (battery or electrical utility) or loss of data signal, the Monitoring Center knows instantly. The EnerWatch Monitoring Center utilizes uninterrupted power supplies to ensure the center can function in any condition. In most cases, outtages are brief and power is restored quickly. After a power loss the EnerWatch Systems automatically resets itself and monitoring begins again. These brief outtages are reported to the customer, but generally do not cause a problem. If an outtage lasts for an extended period of time, the customer is contacted to alert them of the potential problem. Temperature Monitoring Q. Why can't I see my temperature readings?
